Join me on a stroll to see a relaxing and pristine classic styled wooden framed Key West conch vacation property with its pitched tin roof in the Shipyard neighborhood of the Truman Annex. Inside ceiling fans are silently revolving overhead of a bright and cheeful decor. Gaze around and you will see a newly designed oversized two bedroom, one bath first floor condominium nestled mid-way down picturesque Southard St. You are located two blocks from the famous nightlife of Duval Street and 800 yards in the other direction, the Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach. Mallory Square with the nightly sunset celebration is an easy walk down through the Annex to the near end of the island. During the day, the large heated swimming pool is just steps away out my back gate down a pebble path or you can just relax on my large private shaded back deck and catch up on your favorite reading material or just contemplate the meaning of life. Amenities? High speed WIFI. Cable TV. Reserved and secure parking. A large beautifully designed kitchen with the latest appliances and utensils. Top of the line linens and thirsty towels complete the luxurious atmosphere of A Touch of Havana in Key West.
So let's now experience the interior starting with the spacious and relaxing living room with art work from my many educational and humanitarian trips to Cuba framed by muted pastel island colors. There is comfortable seating in the living room for you and your guests on the couch, the Havana arm chair and foot rest and a nice cushioned wooden chair next to the large television with its' various cable channels.
This large living area segues into the inviting dining space with comfortable seating for you and your guests. Sit back and look above you and discover a combination light and fan that is both art deco distinctive as well as functional.
I'll let the photos of the spacious kitchen speak for themselves. I assume you are coming to Key West to sample the many famous restaurants on our island but look into the kitchen drawers and cabinets and discover that if you want to host a dinner party or just fix a simple lunch for the beach, you have everything you need from dishware, silverware and spices to utensils. A wonderful cutting board is right there for the mincing and chopping necessary for a small snack to a gourmet dinner.
Key West begs you to enjoy its walking paths and biking lanes but out back of your vacation condominium, is a large private shaded deck nestled among coconut palms with a table for six and a large umbrella if needed for the afternoon sun.
